1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that your browser stores on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you open a website. Alongside cookies we also use the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage — for example, so that a prompt shown once is not shown again.

How you found the site (source / UTM) — measuring campaign effectiveness
Stored in browser storage (not cookies): fsPushSoruldu (notification prompt shown once), fsAcilisReklam (campaign pop-up opened once per session), dpSurus (scroll state on the payment page). None of these contain personal data.
3. Cookie categories
Necessary cookies — essential for the site to work: login session, cart, checkout, form protection, bot defence. They cannot be switched off; without them the site does not work.
Functional cookies — remember your preferences: continuity of the live-support chat, not repeating notification and app prompts.
Analytics cookies — help us understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, where they run into difficulty. This data is used in aggregated, statistical form.
Marketing cookies — may be used to show you relevant campaigns and offers. We currently place no third-party advertising cookies (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.). If such a cookie is added, this policy will be updated and your consent requested.
4. Analytics — Yandex.Metrica
We use Yandex.Metrica to measure site traffic and user behaviour. The service collects page views, clicks, traffic source and device information; its Webvisor feature keeps an anonymous record of page interaction (scrolling, clicks) so we can find and fix problem areas. Password fields are not recorded. Card details are never entered on our site — payment takes place on the bank's or payment provider's own secure page, so this data is neither stored by us nor captured by analytics. 5. Third-party services
The site uses the following third-party services, which may set their own cookies: Cloudflare (security and acceleration), Crisp (live-support chat), Yandex.Metrica (analytics), Google Fonts (fonts). The pages of banks and payment providers you are redirected to during payment (Epoint, Yigim/Magnet, Chewick, etc.) are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
6. Managing cookies
You can change your choice in two ways:
Via the "Cookie settings" button in the site footer — each category can be switched on or off individually;
In your browser settings — you can delete or block cookies, or ask to be warned every time.
Note: if necessary cookies are blocked at browser level, login, cart and payment will not work.
7. Retention
Session cookies are kept until the browser is closed; persistent cookies for the period shown in the table or until you delete them. Your cookie choice is stored for 12 months, after which it is asked again.
8. Your rights
You may at any time request information about our use of cookies, refuse non-essential cookies, withdraw consent you have given, and delete cookies through your browser. Details on the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
Freeshop.az may update this policy at any time. The updated version takes effect once published on the Site; for significant changes, cookie consent is requested again.
